As the sun sets over the luxurious yachts at Marina Casa de Campo, a symphony of culinary delight prepares to unfold. The clinking of glasses, the enticing aroma of expertly grilled seafood, and the presence of celebrated chefs signal the imminent start of one of the Dominican Republic's most esteemed autumn gatherings. This event masterfully combines the sophisticated ambiance of a mountain retreat with the vibrant essence of the Caribbean.
From October 10th to 11th, 2025, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas will proudly host the third installment of its Food & Wine Festival. This two-day extravaganza is packed with engaging demonstrations from celebrity chefs, refined wine and spirits tasting sessions, and exquisite al fresco dinners enjoyed beneath the starlit heavens. What began as a specialized culinary weekend has blossomed into a landmark occasion, drawing epicurean devotees from across the Caribbean region and beyond.
This year's festival is set to feature an extraordinary roster of culinary talents. Chef Hubert Keller, celebrated for his work at Fleur de Lys and Burger Bar, will grace the event. He will be joined by Scott Conant, renowned for his ability to transform humble ingredients into profound culinary experiences, and Joe Isidori, a Michelin-starred co-founder of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers. Also, a significant presence will be Chef Tita, a leading culinary voice from the Dominican Republic, celebrated for her dedication to local produce and her preservation of Dominican gastronomic heritage.
The festival's itinerary thoughtfully merges sophisticated dining with the distinctive local character. On Saturday, October 11th, Chef Scott Conant will curate an exclusive Armand de Brignac Champagne pairing lunch at La Piazzetta within Altos de Chavón, generously supported by American Express. That evening, the festival culminates with the signature Dinner Under the Stars at Minitas Beach Club, an exceptional beachfront dining spectacle that has become a hallmark of Casa de Campo.
Evenings at the festival seamlessly transition into vibrant celebrations at Plaza Portofino, where lively DJ sets and dancing extend the festivities into the late hours of the night. This provides a perfect opportunity for guests to mingle, relax, and soak in the festive atmosphere after a day of culinary exploration.
Participation in the festival is available at a daily rate of $125 per person, with the Dinner Under the Stars event priced separately at $200 per person. For those seeking a comprehensive experience, inclusive packages offering full festival access and special event participation are also available for resort guests, providing a convenient way to enjoy all the festival has to offer.
