Aimbridge Hospitality has officially entered the all-inclusive resort sector, marking a significant strategic expansion for the globe's largest independent hotel management firm. This new venture commences with the oversight of two prominent Wyndham properties located in the Dominican Republic: Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana and Wyndham Alltra Samaná. The move follows closely on the heels of Aimbridge's announcement in August regarding the establishment of its dedicated all-inclusive division, signaling a concerted effort to capitalize on the burgeoning demand for comprehensive vacation experiences.
The CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality, Craig S. Smith, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the partnership with Advanced Asset Management and Casa Marina Samaná. Smith emphasized that the vision and substantial investment from these ownership groups in their respective properties underscore a profound dedication to superior quality and sustainable long-term value. He affirmed Aimbridge's commitment to leveraging its extensive operational expertise to support this vision, reinforcing the mutual focus on high-performing assets and acknowledging the increasing allure of the all-inclusive model in the hospitality landscape.
The Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana, under the ownership of Advanced Asset Management, is an expansive property covering 47 acres in Uvero Alto. This resort boasts 620 rooms and suites, complemented by a diverse culinary offering of nine restaurants and nine bars. Guests can indulge in a full-service spa and enjoy the Caribbean’s most extended swimming pool, stretching an impressive 1,600 meters. Additional amenities include a water park, multiple swimming pools, and a variety of daily entertainment options, ensuring a comprehensive leisure experience for all visitors.
Meanwhile, the Wyndham Alltra Samaná, owned by Casa Marina Samaná S.A.S., is nestled on 37 acres of picturesque coastal terrain. This resort offers 404 accommodations, including rooms, bungalows, and suites, and features a private cove, five restaurants, four swimming pools, and lively nightly entertainment. Its prime location provides convenient access to a wealth of natural preserves, stunning waterfalls, and pristine beaches scattered across the breathtaking Samaná Peninsula, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
Both resorts underwent extensive renovation projects in 2024, enhancing their accommodations, upgrading culinary concepts, and modernizing recreational facilities. These significant investments were undertaken to elevate the guest experience while steadfastly maintaining the high standards of all-inclusive service for which both properties are known. Carlos Ruiz, Chief Investment Officer of Advanced Asset Management, praised Aimbridge as the ideal partner to unlock the full potential of these properties, noting that the agreement reflects a shared commitment to achieving excellence and fostering enduring value creation.
This strategic entry into the all-inclusive market solidifies Aimbridge Hospitality's position as a dominant player in the global hospitality industry. The partnership with key ownership groups in the Dominican Republic, combined with substantial renovations to both Wyndham Alltra properties, positions these resorts as premier destinations offering enhanced guest experiences within the thriving all-inclusive travel segment.
